Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Human Resources. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and implementing HR strategies to support strategic organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead employee training, development, and certifications
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, and development programs
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and legal compliance
- Lead the development and implementation of compensation and benefits programs
- Ensure HR operations comply with policies and regulations
- Drive initiatives for process improvement, talent management, succession planning, and diversity & inclusion
- Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs
- Manage relationships with various unions
- Transition into the EEO officer
- Maintain employee and workplace privacy
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources
- 3 years of progressive HR experience
- Strong knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations
- Experience with Viewpoint Construction or other HR software
- Proficiency in payroll processes and benefits administration
- Demonstrated success in talent management, performance management, and FMLA administration
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
